Information design challenge

Telephone Bill Redesign //  Information Design

If you are a student studying visual/communication design try to solve this problem. Imagine, TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) is instructing the telephone providers in India to standardize* the design of the telephone bill for the ease of customer comprehension. The idea is to reduce the diversity of appearances of elements which are common to the bill.

Being a communication design student, respond to this challenge. What should be standardized in a telephone bill and why? How consistency in the display of certain elements can be beneficial to service providers as well as customers. It is an opportunity to understand the features offered by each telecom provider and marry them to their customer’s needs.
